1. Who is responsible

2. This website (rodexai.dev)

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you open a page, your browser sends technical data that Cloudflare needs to deliver it and protect it from attacks: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system (user agent). We do not keep our own logs of this data and we do not combine it with other data.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in delivering a secure website). Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to the USA rest on the European Commission's adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). More: Cloudflare privacy policy.

No cookies, no tracking

We use no cookies, no local storage, no analytics, no advertising and no social media plugins. That is why there is no cookie banner. Fonts and images are served from our own domain; your browser does not contact Google or any other font service.

Downloads and links

The download buttons and release notes link to GitHub (GitHub, Inc., USA), where the installer is stored. When you follow these links, GitHub processes your data under its own privacy statement.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once the conversation is finished, unless we have to keep them by law.

3. The Rodex app

What stays on your PC

Rodex runs on your computer. Your chats, settings, credit balance, generated images, icons, effects and 3D builds, notes about your games and saved chart snapshots are stored locally in your user folder (%APPDATA%\Rodex). We cannot see them. There is no Rodex account and the app sends us no usage statistics, crash reports or other telemetry. Invite and credit codes are checked on your PC, without contacting us.

The AI provider you choose

To answer you, Rodex passes your messages, the chat so far, and the parts of your Roblox place the agent reads (for example scripts, instance names and properties, output logs and screenshots of Studio) to the AI tool you select:

• Claude Code by Anthropic (privacy policy)
• Codex and ChatGPT Images by OpenAI (privacy policy)
• Cursor CLI by Anysphere (privacy policy)
• A local model (for example Ollama) running on your own machine or a server you configure

This happens under your own account and agreement with that provider, and its privacy policy applies. Rodex starts the provider's program on your PC; we do not receive a copy of what is sent. Don't put personal data of other people into prompts or game files you share with an AI provider unless you are allowed to.

Roblox

Rodex works through Roblox Studio on your PC. It also calls public Roblox web services: the Charts, search, game details, game passes, badges and thumbnails for the Front Page add-on, the Creator Store for free models, and the Roblox documentation and Developer Forum. To show who is connected, it looks up the public profile name and avatar of the Roblox account signed in to Studio. Roblox receives your IP address with these requests. Assets are uploaded to Roblox only when you ask for it, through Studio and your own Roblox account. See the Roblox privacy policy.

Updates

The app checks GitHub for a new version shortly after it starts and then every hour, and downloads updates from there. GitHub receives your IP address and a user agent naming Rodex. Updates are signed, and the app refuses files with a wrong signature.

Legal basis for the app's requests: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the app you chose to use) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (keeping it secure and up to date).

4. How long we keep data

We store no personal data about you on our own systems, except emails you send us (see above). Data on your PC stays until you delete it; uninstalling Rodex and removing %APPDATA%\Rodex deletes it.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• get information about the personal data we process about you (Art. 15)
• have it corrected (Art. 16) or deleted (Art. 17)
• restrict its processing (Art. 18) and receive it in a portable format (Art. 20)
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests (Art. 21)
• complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work (Art. 77)

6. Children

Rodex is a tool for game developers and is not directed at children under 13. If you are under 16, please use Rodex only with a parent's or guardian's permission, and check the AI provider's own age rules before you create an account there.

7. Changes

We update this policy when Rodex or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. See also our Terms and Imprint.
